Systems Engineer / System Modeler
Job Description:
The Systems Engineer / System Modeler must have detailed understanding of systems engineering practices such as system architecture, system concept development, requirements engineering, operational analysis, decision analysis, systems definition, risk management, design reviews, and baseline control & management. The SE must be capable of the practical application and use of SE processes on a program. Experience with Model Based Systems Development (MBSD) and System Modeling in SysML is required. The successful candidate will be required to collaboratively work with the engineering and operations team across the full development life cycle.
Basic Qualifications Required Skills:
- Demonstrated competency in applying systems engineering methodologies to system design utilizing SysML
- Experience with relevant computer aided tools (i.e. CORE, CRADLE, Rhapsody, MagicDraw)
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
- Model Based System Development (MBSD) experience
Desired skills
- SW engineering / programming experience is a plus
- Certification as an OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional™ (OCSMP) is a plus
Must hold current or be capable of getting a Secret Level Security Clearance.

Systems Engineering Training and Technical Services
Job Description:
This position requires basic and advanced SysML and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) expertise for training individuals on the use computer aided tools and to provide customized training based on individual needs. Ability to verbalize and effectively relay the process to model a system architecture, and link requirements to the architecture elements, and perform evaluation of the model data to identify gaps, redundancies, and risks.
Basic Qualifications Required Skills:
- Experience in systems engineering methodologies for system design
- Experience with SysML
- Experience using NoMagic suite of tools
- Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering
- Experience in developing and producing training curriculums and materials (web based training experience a plus)
- Experience in teaching/presenting to large audiences
Desired skills:
- SW engineering / programming experience is a plus
- Experience using other computer aided tools including CORE, CRADLE, Rhapsody, Enterprise Architecture, System Architecture
- Certification as an OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional™ (OCSMP) is a plus
- Knowledge of requirements for DoDAF compliance

Software Engineer
Job Description:
This position requires strong integration experience to include decomposition of system level (logical model) requirements into detail software design (physical model) requirements, modeling of software components in standard notation (SysML/UML), development of detail software design artifacts (block definition diagrams, class diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams), software code development, documentation, integration, unit and system level test.
Required Skills:
- A full working knowledge of System Modeling Language (SysML) and Unified Modeling Language (UML)
- Knowledge of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
- Solid programming skills with C, C++ and the Linux operating system
- Strong knowledge with interface definition, architecture, and implementation
- Experienced with all phases of the software development life-cycle
- Familiarity with web services, visualization technologies, modeling, database and/or geospatial technologies
Desired Skills:
- Experienced in the use of model based system engineer computer aided tools such as IBM Rational Suite development tools (DOORS, Rhapsody, ClearCase, ClearQuest, and Test Manager), CORE, Cradle, NoMagic suite of tools (MagicDraw and Cameo).
- Full working knowledge of basic software design patterns and competency to leverage design patterns in software design and implementation
- Familiarity with model based systems engineering processes
